Brian Watts
Owner / Tax Preparer
Brian started his career at JW Watts Tax Service in the fall of 1988. He prepares all types of tax returns; Personal, Corporate, Partnerships, Non-Profit returns, and Fiduciary returns. He also provides payroll services. Brian has a wife (Lona) and two children: Alexis (daughter), who joined the JW Watts Tax Service team in 2015, and Garrett (son), who is a professional welder. In his spare time, Brian enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife at Myrtle Beach, our home away from home.
Brian’s Grandfather, John William “JW Watts,” started the business in 1952. The Watts family has been providing services for the people of Lancaster, Indian Land, Heath Springs, and Kershaw for over 67 years.
Alexis Watts
Tax Preparer
Alexis Watts is the daughter of Lona and Brian Watts (owner of JW Watts Tax Service) and the sister of Garret (a welder). She graduated from Lancaster High School in 2012. After graduating from high school, she attended Winthrop University and obtained her accounting degree fall of 2016. Alexis began her full-time position at JW Watts Tax Service in August of 2015 during the process of getting her degree. Her role as an accountant does not stop there; she also handles payroll, all bookkeeping needs, and tax preparation. In her spare time, Alexis enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with my family, friends, and five dogs.
Jay Watts
Tax Preparer
Jay Watts started his career at JW Watts Tax Service in December of 1994. He prepares all types of tax returns, including Non-Profit, Fiduciary, Personal, Corporate, and Partnerships, I also provide payroll services. Jay is married to Andrea Morash and has two children (Lane and Tatyana). When he’s away from the office, Jay enjoys shunting, fishing, and traveling.
